“Meet Jan Andries and Frauke Schelfhout – generation X and generation Z, two passionate entrepreneurs and real lovers of quality chocolate and so much more.

Their shared passion has made them value the use of high-quality ingredients, which are essential for the creation of refined, tasty treats.

Jan wants to pass on his knowledge and experience as a pastry chef and chocolatier to Frauke, a young, frail (which means ‘broos’ in Dutch) but oh-so-studious go-getter. Together, Jan and Frauke make a great team that only wants to deliver top quality. Welcome to Studio Broos, chocolaterie and so much more, with its own atelier and shop!”

Our vision

At Studio Broos, we are committed to creations without any additives. No preservatives, no artificial flavors. Just purely natural.

Our creations can’t be kept forever, but that’s exactly what makes them unique. Surprising, and always slightly different. According to the season and depending on the basic raw materials available. Or simply according to our daily inspiration. One thing is certain: our creations just have to be delicious.

Life is short and fragile, after all, so let’s make the most of it every day!

Our mission

At Studio Broos, we want to be unique and we only want to deliver top quality. How? By taking care of our fragile world. For instance, we want to use as little unbreakable waste as possible, all while respecting our planet.

To produce our sustainable packaging, we use the residual product from sugar cane production. Normally, the sugarcane stems are processed or burnt as waste after being squeezed out, but we put it to use for most of our packaging such as our chocolate boxes and cartonnage.
